Journalist specialised in Digital Communications with over seven-year experience in newsrooms and press offices. Currently working as a Media & Communications Innovation Intern within the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights, I’m also a Member of the Board of the Press Asociation of Seville, Spain. I hold a degree in Journalism and a Master’s degree in European Studies, both from the University of Sevilla. Spanish native, I am fluent in English (Cambridge English: Advanced-C1) and able to cope with French (B1-CEFL) and German (A1).
From January 2015 to August 2016 I worked as an Executive Officer at the Europe Direct Sevilla Information Centre, a position I balanced for a while with my duties as freelance Communications Officer for entities such as the Plus Europe Association, the Barcelona Promoció Foundation and Bloonde web company.
For almost three years (2011-2014) I was a Communications Assistant at the FACUA consumer association, after a year being the Web Editor and Social Media Manager of the Madrid-based Eumedia publishing house. As a trainee, I have been through El Correo de Andalucía, La Voz de Jerez and Canal Sur Radio newsrooms. I have written regularly in Sevilla Actualidad, WEGO! and Más Jerez. Born and raised in Jerez de la Frontera, Cádiz (Spain) in 1985, I am currently based in Vienna (Austria).
